Prie-Dieu or Cereal Step (In Progress)

DSC04349 DSC04352

Here is a work in progress, that won’t be completed until I find a new work space. From a Shaker inspired Prie-Dieu, I am making a step for my youngest son to reach the cereal boxes for himself from the top shelf in the kitchen. The materials again are very well seasoned scaffolding plank and some well weathered 2 by 1.

Swift – Side Panels

All of the side panels are cut, each side is made up of 2 pieces and the boat is now 14′ long. This will be the last view of the rust-red garage doors, demolition is imminent, the land has been sold to developers.
