Xmas Letters

DSC05008

My lucky family are going to get some cut-out letters in their Xmas presents. Could be key-rings, chunky necklaces, paper weights, door stops… Pine planks again. Don’t tell anyone Rach!

Get Zapped!

A pine plank is the base for some simple electronics. The maze can be attempted with the forfeit of an LED light going off, or a surprisingly vicious 400 volt shock to your arm.

Deck Chair

Outdoor furniture constructed in the spirit of the Crate Chair (1934) by Gerrit Rietveld. Made from heavy duty treated decking planks.

Spatula that became a Bat

A large spatula? A small bread board? A ping-pong bat! A fine slice of blighted sycamore.

Another attempt at a Spoon

DSC04968

Getting to grips with a crook knife. A fine finish is still a long way off, but still got 10 fingers. Blighted sycamore.

Famine Chair #1

Using a draw knife to shape legs and back in preparation for a sort of Irish Famine chair. Freshly felled ash.
